12.06.2023 / "Sinking in Despair" - NEW SINGLE:
On June 16th 2023, ECHOZONE will release the 4th single taken from Hidden Souls' new album called "All That We Destroy" (released on November 04th). The name of the single is "Sinking in Despair" and it contains 7 remixes and a "B-Side" track.
We can define the song "Sinking in Despair" as a "classic synthpop" song. Between Camouflage and De/Vision (Germany) but with "a fingertip" that you can find in every Hidden Souls song. I'm talking about the dark atmosphere embracing the song, musically and lyrically. The song blends a powerful refrain with catchy synthesizer melodies and a pulsating bass-line.
The single also contains a non-album track. It's a cover song of Depeche Mode newest single called "Ghosts Again". The band decided to make the cover because they feel that something is missing or unfinished on the original track of the English "cult band". So, after watching the beautiful video of the song. William felt that the lyrics and the music needed something different, a new ending. So, he wrote new lyrics and also, he changed the song's finale. Now, the end of the song turned into a dark lullaby and they found the "closure" they were looking for.

On January 27th, Echozone will release the 3rd single taken from Hidden Souls' new album called "All That We Destroy"(released on November 04th 2022). The name of the single is “We Are All Escapists" and it contains 9 remixes and 2 versions of the "B-Side" track.
We can define the song "We are all escapists" as a "hard synthpop" track. You can hear an analogue synthesizer at the beginning and the end of the song but the hard dance beats, delicate guitars and a 5-string bass, gives a powerful climax, a unique "color" and a "post-punk" feeling to the song. Also, the darkness appears poetically in the lyrics of the song. It's a deep and strong letter to everyone. It invites you to think about yourself, who we become and the life we lead.
The single contains remixes from Ancient Step (Germany), Restriction 9 (Sweden), define.human (USA), People Theatre (France), HzweiG (Germany), CPYist (Germany), Moyom (Canada) and Das Fortleben (Germany).
The single also contains a non-album track. It's a cover song called "Lado Animal" (Animal Side). It has 2 different versions: the 1st version, it's an "adaptation" of the original lyrics of the song but performed in English language. The 2nd version was recorded in Spanish language, singing the original lyrics of the song written by the Mexican synthpop band MOENIA for the soundtrack of the Oscar//Golden Globe nominee movie "Amores Perros". It's the 1st time HIDDEN SOULS recorded a song in their native language. It’s a dark-synthpop song with an intense goth atmosphere.

Hidden Souls - New Single: "LORELEY". On December 2nd 2022, ECHOZONE will release the 2nd single taken from Hidden Souls' new album called "All That We Destroy" (released on November 04th). The name of the single is "Loreley" and it contains 9 remixes of the song and two versions of the "B-Side" track.
"Loreley" is a "80's synthpop style" track that born from the German "Loreley's myth" from 19th century. From the very beginning of the song, an analogue hypnotic synthesizer gives a catchier and warmer sound through the pop dance beats. From the famous "Die Lorelei" poem/song and the myth through the urban legend from the Rhine, the lyrics were written from "the lover" point of view. The aristocratic man who fell in love with Loreley and that he allegedly betrayed her. Sankt Goarshausen - Loreleystadt #Germany
The single contains remixes from Ruined Conflict (USA), L_iGH_T (Spain), Elektrostaub (Germany), People Theatre (France), Device Not Ready (Germany), Real (Argentina), VDOC (Germany) & Glasnost (Argentina).
The single also contains a non-album track. It's the song "The Court of the Beyond". It has 2 different versions. The original one is a dark-synthpop song with a "synthwave touch" but the alternative version has a goth feeling into an intense dark atmosphere.

Hidden Souls "Goodbye Horses" (B-Side). Taken from the single "I Was There...".
It's a cover song made as a "tribute" from Hidden Souls to the singer Diane Luckey (a.k.a. Q Lazzarus). She passed away earlier this year. Even the song is not part of the soundtrack of the cult movie The Silence Of The Lambs (from the famous movie director Jonathan Demme) the song became a sleeper cult hit because of the success of the film.
We made a video with pictures from our concerts in Germany & Spain last summer.

Hello everyone!!! I hope you are fine and healthy. The current situation in the whole world is complicated and it's hard to be positive but we must try...
As most of you already know, we were working so hard the last months and we almost finish our new album. We have plans to play in Europe this year but reality bites and right now, we are living inside a nightmare. We have a few dates already booked since a few months ago but we are waiting since February (the beginning of the COVID19 alert worldwide) to announce the european tour because of the quarantine we are living here in Buenos Aires and because there's a strong possibility that most of the gigs will be cancelled due to health and safety reasons... In the other hand, the closure of the borders, the fear, the risk, not knowing what will happen next, not knowing our next step and the bad situation in Argentina "put us on ice"... 😷 The virus in itself is not the only thing that affects people's health. We feel we are in the middle of nowhere...
Please, don't run away! hehehe The dark part of the message is over! We are breathing darkness but we'll try to focus on the music and we know we have to move on. So we have some news for all of you:
First, we are so happy about the new album. We feel it will be a breakthrough in our career. Second, we made a remix for a very good German synthpop band. And third, we'll be part of the "Dark Stream Festival" We'll play a few songs for you!🎹 You can watch the show safety at home and you can find out how good we really are while you're taking a few drinks 😉

"The Guilt" is a song that was born from the eternal inner fight between light and darkness. The feeling of being loved and wanted but sometimes in suffering and hopeless despair.
The melodies in the song have a touch of futurepop music but in a dark atmosphere. The "up-tempo" song have a deep intense feeling.
The video of the song is actually a short view of Hidden Souls performance as support band for And One in their show in Buenos Aires (Argentina) on last August (2018) in front of 1800 people at the "Museum Club", built by the amazing and famous French civil engineer Alexandre Gustave Eiffel.

"Hearts & Minds" is a song that was born from Edgar Allan Poe's phrase: "When we have peace in our hearts and minds, we draw peace into our lives."
The "up-tempo" song is a mix of rough synths and guitars in a darkwave style but with futurepop arrangements.
"Hearts & Minds" is not a "typically commercial" song and does not show the typical structure you would expect of a single but it's a reflection of the band. It blends different genre styles together.
The video is a 'funny tribute' to David Lynch's "Twin Peaks".
